We have bundled some of our favorite Color of Hope Products to create a bundle of Hope! Perfect to gift, or keep for yourself.
When girls were first rescued, and women offered empowering jobs, the first products they made were from recycled magazines. They searched through magazines and chose to tear out pages dark in nature: browns, blacks, grays. As the stories of these women changed, as their baby's bellies were filled, their hands busy with empowering work, the Gospel of Jesus shared, their creations began to turn to vibrant shades of color: yellows, pinks, blues. The colors they chose, reflected their heart ... a heart filled with hope.
Every item in this bundle is Fair Trade, provides a dignified job for an artisan, and empowers families living in desperate situations around the world.
Have Hope is a group of women who started in 2010 as a Bible Study outreach from Rehema House in Kenya, and is now is a thriving artisan group registered with the Kenyan Business Bureau. The lives of these women have been transformed by dignified jobs that allow them to provide food, clothing, and education for themselves and their families.
At our last art camp our rescued teen mothers joined together to create and heal from trauma. One of their creations was this block print rainbow art in colors of hope! All proceeds from this card go back to Rehema House, to support rescued girls in Kenya.
The Imani Collective employs over fifty Kenyan men + women in Mtepeni Village and Mombasa, along with half a dozen women stateside. Imani Collective is a community of dreamers + shakers who aren’t afraid to ask “why not?” Passionately pursuing a holistic approach to empowerment, they believe that once we realize what we’re made of, we can own what we’re made for. Imani is convinced that we aren’t just better together — we’re our best together.
